Why British Wool?
Natural. Breathable. Biodegradable. Beautiful.
Every Fruitbat Textiles piece begins with 100% British wool - a fibre grown on our doorstep, with a heritage stretching back generations.
Chosen for its warmth, durability and gentle softness, British wool keeps you comfortable in every season while supporting British farmers and reducing environmental impact.
Meet Charlotte - Weaver, Dyer & Slow-Craft Storyteller
I'm Charlotte, a hand-weaver based in rural Somerset.
Inspired by the changing colours of the countryside, I create small-batch scarves, shawls and textiles using British wool and slow, traditional techniques.
From painting or dyeing the yarns, to warping, weaving and hand-finishing, every piece is crafted on my loom with intention, skill and care. No rush. No shortcuts. Just beautiful textiles made to last a lifetime.
The Mini Autumn Collection
Rich seasonal palettes inspired by woodland light, crisp mornings and the slow return of cosy days. Small-batch, limited run - once they're gone, they're gone.
