Blue & Grey Check British Wool Shawl

Wrap yourself in craftsmanship, heritage and comfort with this handwoven British wool shawl, designed and woven in my Somerset studio. Using traditional weaving techniques, I've created a timeless check pattern in rich shades of turquoise, navy and soft grey - colours inspired by windswept coastlines.

Made entirely of 100% British wool (from Suffolk and Jacob sheep), this shawl celebrates one of our most sustainable natural fibres. Wool is naturally breathable, insulating and durable - a fibre that keeps you warm on chilly days yet feels light and comfortable enough to wear all year round. Unlike synthetic fabrics, it's fully biodegradable and part of a slower, more thoughtful way of living and dressing.

Drape it over your shoulders for a day of exploring a National Trust property, wear it on an evening out or simply enjoy it at home as a comforting layer. However you wear it, this shawl is made to be cherished for years to come. 

Finished with hand-tied tassels, every detail tells a story of care, craft and connection to tradition.

Measurements: 

Width approx: 53cm
Length approx: 194cm plus 8cm tassels at each end.

Care: Wool is naturally self-cleaning and rarely needs washing. Air outside to freshen, or gently hand wash in lukewarm water if needed. Air dry flat and press with a cool iron.
